(Y/N) "Reaver" (L/N) had served nearly eight years for the Marines before he was called to join Task Force 141. Being a soldier was the one goal he had left in life after his father had passed away, so he dedicated everything he could: sweat, blood, tears, and even half of his left ear. It was the best distraction a man like him could find. However, he wasn't alone in taking pleasure in the spoils of violence. No, there was someone who found joy in much worse things, and he happened to find out a little too late who this someone was.
For several months, the sergeant had worked with Task Force 141 on locating missiles distributed by Hassan. His experience left him saving a couple of lives, but risked his own in the process. And that garnered him a lot of admiration. Perhaps, too much admiration because before (Y/N) knew it, the situation proved to be graver than he thought when he came face to face with a man beyond saving. A man who went by the codename, "Ghost".

Summary
Years of being in the military either lands you in a death box or an endless stream of promotions. For the few that pass their abilities, they get a shot at joining Special Forces which is exactly what happened for Sergeant (F/N) (L/N).
However, he didn’t expect the oddballs for teammates along with it. He managed well, impressed most, yet the only one he couldn’t crack was the very Lieutenant, Ghost. The man did everything he can to make it hard on (F/N), but avoided conversation when able. Little did (F/N) know that the reason why traveled into dangerous territory.
Until after a successful rescue mission, drinks upon drinks filling the night, did the tension get addressed. And it spiraled into something the two could never come back from.
