“James…” he whispered into his son’s ear, “Did you really think you could dictate to me who I can and cannot date? It’s been more than two years since your mother died. I have the right to move on and try to start living again. Especially since my wife wanted me to try to find happiness once again.” When he finished speaking, he straightened up and looked into the eyes of his only child, waiting for any comment.
Turning pale, James managed to gasp, “Why him?”
“I find Severus extremely amusing.” Fleamont replied with a smirk. “Sev is intriguing enough to me that I want to make him… for lack of a better word… I want him to become the next Lady Potter. The witch you chose for your spouse will have to settle for being called ‘Mrs Potter’. Remember James… You are an adult now and if you try to hurt Severus knowing how I feel about him, I will treat you not as my son but as my enemy.”
An alternate universe in which Fleamont Potter fell in love—against his will—with a boy he saw on Platform 9 ¾ when he was taking his son and his friends to their sixth year at Hogwarts. He tried to fight it at the beginning, but... He lost miserably.

Summary
Severus died that night at the hands of the Dark Lord, the man he "worked" for and was "loyal", at least that's what the Lord believed him to be, an impeccable servant. Even so, he ended up dying for his master's snake. He knew it would happen, he was sure his time was coming, just like the manipulative old goat's plan.
He died, but not as badly as he thought it would. The green eyes of his sweet childhood friend, his sister, shone into those of her son. That put him at ease.
However, he had many regrets, he wanted to be a better person, less sour, less broken and unstable. He wanted to be able to see his best friend, be better for him, for her, as well as for himself.
Who would have thought that his wish would be heard and, as soon as he opened his eyes once more, he would be back in his childhood self? Severus had one more opportunity and he wasn't going to waste it, he would do his best to live his life well and to the fullest.
However, what would he do when he found out that he wasn't the only one who had the memories of his past life? How would his life turn out? Better or worse?
