Summary
There was an easy warmth to being with Michela. It was comforting. “Third date’s a big one, right?” Michela said. Without either of them saying anything, they started walking down one of the paths in the Evernight Glade. Their conjoined hands swung between them.
“Mhmmm.” Ambear hummed. “I really wanted this, you know. No distractions. No… mmm, evil ghosts that need calming in the crypts.” Ambear stopped in the middle of the path and then bumped their shoulders together playfully. “And I remember someone making a promise about what happens on date three.”
“I didn't forget,” Michela smiled. Her thumb brushed gently across Ambear’s knuckles. “Actually... I was thinking. If we’re really doing date three, maybe we shouldn't just walk around my village. So I was thinking…a picnic?”
Ambear's answer was a bright, excited grin. “That sounds perfect.”OR,
Ambear and Michela finally, finally get to go on that third date.

Summary
A hollow crack followed her as her back collided with the wall behind her. For someone not too accustomed to touch, Magpie was startlingly close. AJ spat out a glob of blood onto the pretty blue running of the Lupi dorm floor, vision swimming in and out as she was harshly pinned against the wall by Magpie.
AJ gave her a silly, bloody smile. “You really do punch harder when you're pissed off. It’s cute.” She giggled. She wheezed and giggled even more when the arm across her collarbone shoved her even harder into the wall.
Magpie shifted her arm up onto AJ’s throat until air was barely reaching AJ’s lungs. Magpie leaned forward until their forehead almost collided with AJ’s. AJ admired the oddity of Magpie’s different colored lashes in a way she'd never admit to herself or others. “I’ll break your jaw if that’s what makes you look at me, AJ. Stop…stop running. Just stop.”
OR,
After Magpie tells AJ they love her, AJ doesn't just let them leave this time around.

A fucking sick joke. Thats how Catra describes it. When shes alone at night, breathing Adora’s name into the air of Prime’s ship.
