    Generally speaking, one does not personally meet the King of Hell after death unless one has fucked up tremendously in life.

    Someone becomes no one becomes a prince in the Land of Wind. Tensei of Sunagakure has a hit list, a god of the underworld breathing down his neck, and plenty of time to figure things out while he tries to make this house a home. Hopefully.

    “Doctor! It’s spiking again.”

    To which, the Cube sparked one more --a much larger spike to the previous.

    “What’s that?”

    Before Fury could so much as tense, eye on the Cube, it sparked again --for the ground and walls to visibly shake.
    It continued to spark some more, bigger each time - to which a beam of energy was suddenly brought forth and -an explosion...

    Once visual on the platform returned, it was only for Fury to tense further.
    Confusion and concern ran through him as he took in the several unknowns now of the platform, each more confusing than the last. In the centre was a dark haired kid - ten or eleven if Fury had to guess - complete with a bloodied sword in his hand. Yet, they were not the oddest thing. That was reserved to the brightest tropical bird he had ever seen, complete with a wide colourful wing span and a long back tail rivalling that of a peacock’s, which flew in suspension above the boy.

    BB: I keep forgetting to ask, how are you finding the Orange Islands?
    UT: they’re great!
    UT: we’ve met some new friends, seen some new pokémon, and i’m on my way to the first gym!
    UT: we also crashed two blimps, broke dialga, and i think kyogre is stalking me.

    UT: so it’s pretty normal!
    BB: Ash, that is so not normal I don’t even know where to start with you…

    Ash Ketchum is fresh out of competing in the Indigo League, cheered on by both his human friends and the large cast of legendary Pokémon who were watching and commenting on the progress of his entire Kanto adventure. They weren’t supposed to interfere, but this being Ash, and they being bored, that lasted about three hours. Now Ash is tasked by Professor Oak to retrieve a mysterious artefact from his colleague in the Orange Islands. After everything that happened in Kanto, it’s safe to assume that this will totally go off without any problems and everything will be fine.

    Or: It’s never safe to assume when the legendary Pokémon chatroom is involved.

    Alternatively or: Having made multiple collisions and derailed, this canon train is heading straight into the sea.
