Summary
Ashlyn Trevelyan has been a warden since she was fifteen. She was in Haven to testify before the Divine about the abuses she faced before her joining, determined to at least try to help her fellow mages before going to the deep roads. But when it seems like shes about to become a scapegoat for the Divine's death, she lies about who she is to protect her brothers and sisters in the order.
Adrielle Trevelyan, on the other hand, is simply trying to protect her sister, as she always has. But convincing a warden to conscript two teenagers and convincing the world not to kill a mage they blame for the Divine's death are two very different things.

Whichever option they choose, they had better make it work, because SecUnit is firmly centered in the crosshairs of its former owner, the most paranoid and ruthless company in the entire corporation rim. As things quickly get worse, destroying the company--something SecUnit has long considered impossible--might just be the only way to survive.
