    “But that’s just it,” Lucy stresses, “I don’t feel like I can trust Tanner...or anyone that I don’t already know…” An idea had begun to form in her mind a few minutes back, and she’s not sure if she should even bring it up with Tim, or how he’d react. 

    But he must pick up on something because he tilts his head at her in suspicion. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
     
    Lucy decides to just rip the bandaid off. “I was just thinking...maybe you’d be willing to help me with this?”

    OR

    Lucy has been having trouble feeling safe with strange men ever since her kidnapping and there’s only one person she trusts to turn to for help. Exposure therapy with Tim is surely all she needs to overcome her fears and have a chance at a real relationship again someday...right?
