Viktor initially declines, but knowing Jayce’s persistence, he eventually gives in. “Viktor, turn it off! If you don’t we-” but it was a little too late. The resonance of the hex crystal got out of control, it felt like a thunderstorm forming in the small lab room. Viktor dropped the lever out of shock, realizing that Jayce was right but his blindness was the cause of this. He should’ve listened to what Jayce said.
