Deku just wanted to sleep, he never asked to be somehow transported to the past, but he sure as hell is not wasting this opportunity.
He just never realised how much the war had changed him
-or- vigilante deku is hit by a quirk and is now a war veteran in a time where the war hasn't even happened yet
(I'm so sorry that I've completely abandoned this, I just ran out of motivation, I still rlly like the idea and I feel I've got more of a hand of writing now so I may rewrite this)

Summary
It was hard to be a hero when there was no one to save. Deku couldn't remember what the sun looked like, some days he barely remembered his lingering childhood dreams.
He remembered Kacchan though. They'd stood side by side for years, wandering the wastes, doing whatever it took to keep each other alive. Going back in time wasn't going to be any different. Together, they'd survived the apocalypse. And, together, they were going to stop it.
