Summary
Draco Malfoy comes back after having spent years studying abroad, and is bestowed as the most desirable bachelor in England. Hermione Nott isn't interested in him at all, but her life takes an unexpected turn when Lavender drags her to a nightclub.

It was all Lavender’s fault, as per usual. And a boy’s fault, obviously.
Six days before Lavender had heard from Cho, who had heard it from her mother, who had heard it from someone at the Ministry that the scion of the Malfoys was about to come back to England. The news had sent Lavender straight to Ecstasy galaxy for being the only heir of the wealthiest family in Wizarding Europe and - as many said - having been graced with considerable beauty, Draco Malfoy was the catch. Or he would have been hadn’t he been a first-class jerk.

Summary
In 2003 Lord Voldemort won the war against the Order of Phoenix, destroying what was left of it. Seventeen years later, Draco Malfoy is an alcoholic who lives alone in a decaying Malfoy Manor with nothing else to keep him company but his solitude. When his grey eyes found her, he felt his stomach twisting inside his body. Her small figure was sitting in the furthest corner of the cell, with her arms wrapped around the legs she had bent to cover her nudity. A cascade of dark tangled curls rounded her oval face. Her chin was resting on the limited space between her knees. Her jaw was set. Her wrists and her ankles were covered by manacles from which started the chains that ended on the walls. She was so immobile that she might as well be under some petrifying spell but, whatever they had done to her, they didn’t manage to extinguish the fire in her eyes.

Summary
Hermione Granger is one of the most competent Aurors in the DMLE. She is great at her job and a role model. That's why she does not understand why fate has decided to punish her by assigning her the protection of a surely insane Draco Malfoy who has fled the wizarding world to become a rockstar.
Extract from Chapter 1:
“Good morning, Malfoy,” she greeted him, her tone so extremely polite considering their last interaction had been when one of his friends had tried murdering her.
He did not reply, too busy dislocating his jaw by gaping. Not that Hermione didn’t share the sentiment, yet she had much work to do.
“Chief Robards informed me you were expecting me to come here today.”
Malfoy blinked several times, almost as if he was thinking her presence was nothing but a hallucination. Again, totally understandable.
“You accepted?” He asked, incredulous.
