Summary
Viktor emerges from the blinding white light made by the Arcane, even though he didn’t think he would.
He sits up, probably before he is ready, and his vision spins, gut twisting in warning. He blinks past the nausea, fights through the lightheadedness, enough so that he can glance around at his surroundings.
He is in a forest, at the edges of an empty clearing, not a building in sight, and Jayce’s body is limp a few feet away from him.

OR Jayce and Viktor wake up, different and slightly scarred, both convinced the other won't want them anymore.

“Like I told you V, I’ve never had a physical relationship like that before… But I know what it looks like—I’ve heard first-hand accounts from other students when I was staying in the Academy dorms.”
