“I can’t orgasm anymore, Jean-Luc!” she blurted out before she could stop herself, unable to listen to him ramble on with his brilliant ideas of stress relief. Then, the room went painfully quiet as they both mulled over the huge mistake they had made. However, she found herself itching to provide more context given the randomness of her statement. “That is my stress relief,” she confessed, sounding pitifully defeated. “And ever since… ever since I left Caldos, I have tried… almost everything,”
She wasn’t just pent up from stress, she had been practically edged for over a week. ‘Frustrated’ hardly covered the way she felt.
After the events on Caldos, Beverly realizes her usual source of stress relief no longer works. Unable to stand seeing her so stressed out, Jean-Luc offers to help her find the solution.

Summary
From where she stood, she couldn’t see the hand he had in his pocket. Keeping entirely focused on the conversation he was having, he activated the device to a medium setting. Beverly’s body lurched without her permission as the vibrations came back to life, rumbling against every deep and sensitive spot inside of her.
“You managed to fool an empath. Well, at least I think you did. Maybe she sensed your arousal the moment you stepped on this deck,” he taunted, his hand rubbing small circles on her lower back. “There’s never any fooling Guinan, so let’s not kid ourselves. However, I wonder if you’ll be able to fool a full telepath.”
That caught her attention. She jerked her head upright to look at him, shooting him daggers with her eyes. “What does that mean?”
While attending a birthday party at Ten Forward, Jean-Luc decides to have a little fun with seeing how far he can push Beverly.

Summary
“Too bad you can’t have your way with me in the Captain’s chair,” she had said one night, laying on his chest in post-coital bliss. She’d felt the way he had twitched at the idea, and had since refused to let go of the concept. Not that he wanted her to either, given that she was right about the fact that he had dreamt of taking her in his chair.
Naturally, there was no way he could do such a thing since the bridge was occupied at all times. Sure, the holodeck could provide something close to the experience, but not quite the full monty that would fulfill the fantasy for what it was. Until now, giddy with excitement as they rode down to the first level of the empty ship.
With the ship in drydock, Beverly and Picard take advantage of the empty Captain’s chair on the bridge.

Summary
Jean-Luc inhaled sharply from next to her and she immediately knew that he was awake. That should’ve been enough for her to still her hand and at least try to pretend that she wasn’t shamelessly masturbating in front of him, but everything they both felt was far too overwhelming to give a damn. She didn’t need to explain, he already knew just from their connection that she had witnessed his dream and that had set a domino effect into motion. His dream and his desire awakening her own, him feeling her lust and sparking it alive within her had heightened his own until it became a paradox of torture.
While stranded on Kesprytt, Beverly witnesses a dream about herself coming from Jean-Luc’s mind. However, neither of them were aware that sensing each other’s feelings would lead to an echo effect in their implants. Overwhelmingly desperate for each other, they do the only thing they can to put an end to the never ending relay of heightened arousal.
