A small smile. “I know. I don’t expect any reciprocation, if that’s what you’re worried about. I just thought you deserved to know.”
Six months later, he watches out of the corner of his eyes as Shouto laughs at Katsuki’s jabs. He watches the little dimples appear in his soft cheeks and the new crinkles in his eyes form, and feels something warm and familiar unfurl behind his ribs.
[in which shouto confesses old feelings and (maybe) gets a boyfriend, and izuku is a little late to understanding why it feels like it’s the end of the world.]

Keith stared into the neon purple concoction and wondered if it would be his death sentence.
“Shiro,” he said out of the corner of his mouth. “I can’t drink this.”
“Why?” Shiro asked through his smile.
Keith glanced over to where Lance was asking if any of the Xaligas had heard of bendy straws. The aliens, as per usual, were enchanted by him.
“Because,” Keith’s teeth were locked shut to keep from chattering. “It might cause an intergalactic incident.”
Shiro’s eyes widened ever so slightly. “That’s a good reason.”When the gang is served a truth serum by an untrusting group of aliens, Keith is forced to reveal a rather inconvenient secret. This is bothersome, considering half of the galaxy is in love with Lance.

Summary
As the duo departed the city limits and entered the bordering grassy hills between Station Square and the coastal seaside, the air started to clear. Shadow caught his first glimpse of the evening’s stars, an expanse of twinkling lights speckling the velvety sable horizon.
The clouds had almost completely dispersed, revealing the waxing gibbous moon. It illuminated the terrain with a hazy, surreal quality.
As they crested the hill, Shadow’s gaze briefly scanned the meadow below before settling on roguish green eyes. He froze. A familiar, knowing smirk greeted him.
"Hey, Shads!"
