They stared at each other quietly for a minute, before Hanbin pulled him into a hug, and it didn't feel like their usual daily hugs.
Looking back, Hao should've seen it coming from a mile away.
Gently, like how he did everything else, he held Hao in his arms, it's warm; it's Hanbin after all, but the shaky breath he would let out on Hao's neck made his heart break.
Hao could feel his hands trembling yet Hanbin still held him tightly, so tight it was almost like on that fateful day, the day they were announced to debut together.
He pulled out of the hug, put a hand on Hao's face and lovingly caressed it.Faintly, in a voice that's so quiet it's barely audible, he said;
"Hyung, we need to talk."Or; Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin broke up years ago, Hao wishes he could say that's the end of the story but fate keeps making them meet again and again.

He hits Zhang Hao's chest, at the place where his heart is, harder than intended. It's supposed to be brotherly and friendly but it doesn't come off that way at all, he cannot for the life of him act sane and calm right now, too overwhelmed by an emotion he cannot even name.

Hanbin doesn't even like cardio but the weights were on the other side of the gym, away from the windows. Two days a week, in the early mornings when Zhang Hao had swim practice, Hanbin would abandon her regular gym and stay on the treadmill in the pool gym for a solid ninety minutes just to watch her swimming below. Upon learning of this, Zhang Hao had called her a creep then promptly sat on her face.

He opens his mouth wide, his eyelids fluttering shut. The crunch of the watermelon hits his ears, the flavor flooding into his mouth.
And then his teeth hit the metal prongs of the fork, and Zhang Hao mourns the fact that it isn't the soft skin of Hanbin's fingers instead.
When he swallows, he opens his eyes again.
"Yeah, the heat got me. I think you'll need to keep feeding me Hanbin-ah."
How could he possibly explain that the source of his heat stroke wasn't the sun, but the desire that's slowly cooking him alive?
