Summary
Thomas Baker is an American college student studying abroad in Paris when a night out drinking with other boys turns into something far more sinister. In an attempt to flee a deadly fate, he instead encounters Lady Marié Evereaux, a centuries-old vampire who brings him into her world of magic and darkness in order to save his life. In her Hôtel Pied de Alouette and beyond, Thomas will learn much about Paris' supernatural underground, history, swordplay, magic, and even himself.
Or herself, as the case may be.
The fledgling vampire will battle beside and against witches, demons, lycanthropes, and more in her slow and inevitable unraveling of not only the conspiracy that brought her here, but its dark and cruel past. The arc of history is long, as Lady Marié knows well, and though it never repeats itself, it does often rhyme.- Language:

Summary
After years of struggling with the desire, Mel is finally ready to start taking steps towards transitioning from Alpha to Omega. If only it were so simple to navigate a Byzantine medical system that isn't particularly interested in helping someone step outside societies norms. Fortunately, she has her oldest friend Cally by her side, a suspiciously well-connected Alpha who seems to know a great deal about how to help her.
