Summary
While Hawks was battling against some villains on the other side of town, someone sets their sights on me. This moment was planned, and he knew it had something to do with an event I've investigated in the past.
It changes things between us.~
"Rose? What's wrong?" Hawks asked, noting the change of my voice.
"I- It's nothing." I tried to lie.
"It can't be nothing. I know you... Was it because the call dropped? I'm really sorry." Hawks said, sounding apologetic.
"No, it's not that... I don't even know where to start. I mean... Hawks, I think someone was watching me. I don't know how long for. They saw me notice them." I answered.
"Somebody was watching you? But this timing means that..." Hawks asked, becoming serious.
"Honestly, I don't think that I can fall asleep like this."
"Stay awake. Make sure everything is locked. Don't go outside for any reason. Understood?" Hawks said, making me stand up immediately.
"I understand."
"Call me if you notice anything." Hawks said before I hear the sound of rushing wind once more. "Keep alert." He added in quickly before hanging up.*No Y/N.
