Summary
James thought he wanted Lily—that had always made sense. But now that their relationship is over, he isn’t sure what the next step is, or why it feels like there’s an endless pit dragging him down, down, down.
The only thing keeping him afloat these days is, strangely enough, his best friend’s little brother. Well, Sirius will understand. If the only other option is James drowning—he’ll understand. Right?

Summary
When he was seventeen, Remus Lupin watched a boy dance at the Prix de Lausanne, and fell rather tragically in love. Six years later, and working as rehabilitation coach at the Fidelius Ballett, Remus has long since contented himself with watching Sirius Black from side-stage.
Only, when Sirius is injured mere weeks before his principal debut, Remus finds himself abruptly yanked from his place in the wings, and thrust centre stage, right into the star-bright spotlight of Sirius’ life.
Remus doesn’t see it exactly, too enraptured as he is by Sirius’ face, but he hears it. A harsh pop! that echoes unbidden ghosts of pain in his mind, sends discordance clanging down every xylophone-rung of his spine, his entire skeleton reverberating with each chilling strike. Frozen, Remus watches as that face—that beautiful face—drops its grin, turns paper-white, and then Sirius is on the floor.

Summary
In the wake of his father’s death Sirius Black finds himself living on the North Carolina coast in the beach-themed love shack that Orion shared with his mistress. His plan for the summer is to finish writing his novel, get the house ready so that he can list it for sale, and get back to New York before the leaves can even begin to change.
Too bad his former college nemesis and fellow author Remus Lupin lives right next door, just as surly and withdrawn as he remembers him being, throwing a wrench into all of his carefully laid out plans.
