One night, on patrol, he comes across a parrot that has a similar issue of damaging itself. Fate is funny that way--it often likes to walk hand-in-hand with coincidence.
As Damian spends more days with the bird at his side, he begins to realize that perhaps the endeavor that is his life does not have to be a lonely one.
