She's yet to tear her gaze away from the blonde, unabashedly ogling the woman because let's face it, her girlfriend is the second hottest person she knows; herself being number one, obviously.
Adora makes a confused grunt when the television screen goes black. "Huh, what gives?" She asks, pausing in her tracks when she sees Catra looking at her with hooded eyes, pupils dilating a fraction.
"I got bored," is her answer, twisting her body as she falls to rest her head on Adora's lap. She's directly face to face with her groin, blue-yellow sliding up to peer at Adora through her lashes. "Say," she begins, "I'm freezing my tail off. Why not be a good girlfriend and warm me up?"

“How much longer are you going to be in Brightmoon?”
Catra stops on a half circle. She glances at Bow through the corner of her eyes. “Until the end of next month.” One month. That’s the time she has left in Brightmoon. The time she has left with Adora. Her ears wilt slightly. She’d been in Brightmoon for the past month and a half now, establishing a new treaty between the kingdoms and once her mother arrives, she’ll be attending another talk.
“Wow, time sure does fly.” Bow whistles, drying the bowl, and then wiping the counter before toweling his hands. “Does Adora know?”
Catra lets the question hang in the air. She rocks back in the chair, crossing her arms. “She does.”

Bow pouts, strongly resembling a wounded pup. "Of course, that's the one thing you two agree on."
"Don't remind me. I think I threw up in my mouth a little." Catra sneers, a bitter taste on her tongue.
"Right back at you, fluff ball." Glimmer spins with a flourish. "Let's go. And, you better be on your best behaviour when we get there."
Catra slithers up alongside the shorter girl, pulling her close against her. "I'm always on my best behaviour, Twinkles. Have you forgotten our time together during our trial and error hostage scenario?" Catra smiles wide, teeth shining like pearls.
"That's what I'm afraid." Glimmer groans, already making a list of all the things that can go wrong.
Or, nothing is ever simple when Catra's involved.

“Say it, say it, say it-!” Adora's chanting comes to an abrupt halt. She sniffs the air experimentally. The scent isn't that strong, but it's noticeable, and it's not too bad, but it's not pleasant either. She sniffs again, moving her nose closer to Catra's wild mane. Her head snaps back immediately before slowly easing forward. Narrowed gray-blue find waiting gold and teal. “Catra?”
“Hm?”
“When's the last time you had a bath?”
Catra shrugs. “I don't know. Three weeks ago?”
“Catra!” Adora releases her at once, arms folded as she regards her friend with disbelief and disgust. “We've talked about this! You can’t be bathing once every three weeks!”
Or Adora learns how difficult it is to bathe a cat.

Summary

Slowly starving in her cell, she befriends the Malfoy’s house elf, but Spinky is bound by the same magic that holds Hermione there and is unable to help her escape.
When Narcissa is released from Azkaban on health grounds, she is retuning home with the expectation that death will soon be knocking on her door. What she doesn’t expect is to be nursed back to health by a woman who should, by rights, hate her.

A slow burn featuring twisted canon events, plenty of sisterly dynamics, and suffocating sexual tension.

And once again, Hermione’s brain was gone. Off. In the gutter. Derailing itself with horrifying efficiency.
No.
She tore her eyes away, mentally superimposing the image of her grandfather at Christmas – spectacularly pissed, stark bollock naked under a tartan robe, arguing with the angels in the tree. Still not enough. So she added the memory of that one chapter in Magical Maladies and Their Management, the one with close-up photos of Spattergroit pustules. That did the trick.
Refreshed, centred, pure of thought, she cleared her throat and continued the tour.
Or: Bellatrix Lestrange is supposed to stop committing crimes. Hermione Granger is supposed to stay impartial. Neither of them is very good at following instructions. There’s a dead man, a collapsing investigation, and a rapidly collapsing sense of professional distance.
(Works both as a sequel to Of Magic, Mayhem and Poor Decisions and as a standalone if you don’t like slow buildings.)

They hide in plain sight, influencing humans with their songs and their wiles, and any siren found is to be closely monitored and controlled. One siren is a major security risk.
Two sirens, on the other hand, is a catastrophe. For if they should find each other, and worse still, mate, they could tear the world asunder.
