   Summary

   At the end summer, during the most persistent spell of bad weather the kingdom has seen in a while, Wormwood the Raven makes a wish into the old Wishing Well in the back garden: to become a human sorcerer of great power. But all wishes have a price, and the price he pays might be greater than he had imagined. A spell is broken; another is activated after having lain dormant for three whole decades.
