Summary
"Fate? Really? That's pathetic even for you"
"How so, Astarion?"
"To think our pasts mean something is the hope of the truly foolish or dimwitted."
"I suppose I'm a fool then. You needn't be afraid that there might be more for us."
"You are a fool; don't presume to know me or my thoughts."
"Sometimes I do feel as though I do know you..."Cuts of glass, ribbons of light dulled by clotted edges in too-tight fingers. Maybe away from the hungry past, the shards will breathe a thousand new blooms.
Or:
Lost, entwined, and broken. Astarion and Tavariel struggle to tolerate one another on their journey against the looming darkness. Despite their flaring tensions, through pain and resilience, they come to rely on one another. However, when forgotten memories begin to stir and threaten to set their lives ablaze, they must find pieces of themselves lost to time. Will they find them in each other? Or will their bond only cut them deeper?

Summary
Running down endless halls. Darkness licked at every inch of him and the walls. Passing by open doors that led to yawning shadow, glowing eyes peering from the void. A crow cawed as it flew down the stretching hallway, landing on a bronze sculpture. It spoke to him, but the words dripped from his ears and dried to nothingness. It cawed again and fluttered its wings.

Summary
“Astarion. Was that you I saw?” Astarion’s skin erupted into an icy flame. A lump in his throat formed from trepidation and anger began welling its way upward. “I- Why would-” He tried to come up with some clever retort or biting snark as his words failed him, but his mind seemingly ceased to function as he fell down deeper into the blackness. “Wyll! Was that necessary?” Tav stopped his playing and regarded Wyll with a dumbfounded look. Astarion’s breathing began to quicken at a wretchedly fast pace. His heart did not beat, but it felt like it was going to tear through his chest all the same.
In which, Astarion and the companions enjoy a night of dance and revelry until Wyll stirs a memory.
