While he ran a sleeve over his wet face, Yuuri stepped back to take a look at his newest work. The colors and the dynamic of the brushstrokes resembled the strong breeze over the sea. The fading beauty of the setting sun, putting the sky on fire right before the night would come and put everything into darkness. It was so bittersweet. Just like the music it was inspired by. The dampened tones of a violin that was played by one of Yuuri’s neighbors. It was pure magic. The emotions that came with the stroked strings filling his heart. Even the sad melody quieting the loud voices of his anxiety for once. And it never failed to strike his inspiration.

Victor stared at the floor in front of him. Bow still in his hand, the violin leaning on his shoulder. When has he become so lonely? When did everything start to feel numb? His inner turmoil had begun to influence his music. He couldn’t bring the notes to life anymore. He just played them, never felt them. The only times he felt his music were his impro sessions at home. The little gallery down the street had become his source of inspiration. The usual vibrant colors brim with emotions, Victor had almost forgotten he had. -
