Summary
“Home run!” The cheers of the small crowd overlap with the excited squeals of Andrew's teammates as he swings the bat full force towards the ball, sending it flying across the fence. He chucks the bat down and leaves it in the dust as he sprints past each base, his hat forgotten in his wake. As he reaches the last base, he can see the smile in his coach’s eyes, and can feel the pride swell in his chest at the sight.
The disgust he feels pooling in his gut from the look of death in the rotter’s eyes after hearing the squelches of rotten intestines is a different feeling, but he still holds his bat and his hat is still forgotten in his trail.

Another groan leaves Elijah, this time intentional, but since he’s already breathless it comes out a little different than intended. Elijah just shuts his mouth.

“Shit,” Lance breathes. “This is so freaky.”
Keith can hear the laugh in his voice, trying to wrap his mind around how he could possibly find humor in a moment like this. His muscles are taut with anxiety, and Lance still manages to crack a joke.
“Right?” the other Lance agrees. “Two of us, ha.”
“Enough,” Keith finally cuts in. “There’s about to be only one of you if you don’t start talking soon.”
“Jeez, you’re intense,” the other Lance says to his Keith, eyes crinkling softly at the corners. “Would hate to get on your bad side.”
or: When Lance and Keith meet their counterparts from a different universe, it’s fun, mostly.

The light reflects on a piece of silver metal on Keith’s hand as his fingers play with Lance’s.
He zeroes in on it, his breath catching in his throat.
It’s a thin silver ring that sits nicely on his left ring finger, adorned with an even thinner golden band around it, perfectly matching, and mirroring the ring that Lance found on his bathroom counter this morning.

This has to be some kind of cruel joke.
There is no way that the person he’s married to in the future is Keith.

Summary
Things Lance was hoping for in his new roommate: totally cool. Preferably a lady, but Lance has never been one to limit himself to just one gender. Liked lame jokes, liked eating spoonful’s of peanut butter, made bad puns. Firmly believed ABBA was God’s gift to man kind. Preferably fell madly in love with Lance’s brilliant sense of humour and awkwardly endearing good looks.
Things Lance was expecting in his new roommate: probably a little lame, but in a good way. Like in a Hunk way. Normal sense of humour, but hopefully didn’t hate puns the way Hunk and Pidge did. Probably liked Dancing Queen and not much else.
Things Lance was not even remotely prepared for in his new roommate: Keith fucking Kogane.
