Summary
Maya Bishop travels to Sicily Italy on a vacation with her best friend after she won that gold medal in the 2012 olympics. She needed a break before she started at the Fire Academy and needed to get away from her father.
Here, she meets a young woman named Carina DeLuca, a resident at the local hospital. They meet at the beach and Maya ends up spending some days with this woman and her friends. They learn about each other’s lives and an undeniable romantic spark lies between them. But eventually, Maya has to go back to Seattle and start her future as a Firefighter.

Summary
Valentina Carvajal was the star soccer player at Edon High, graduating top of her class with plans to study journalism and continue playing soccer at the local University. It was the summer before she started school when she became a camp counselor / coach at Edon High’s girls summer soccer camp. Other than the freshman, there was an unfamiliar face that Valentina didn’t recognize. But there was something about her that always piqued Valentina’s attention and she was curious to know more about her.
