The interest the others had in the trio was something that stuck with him. They were all dead, but… they probably wouldn't want him hurting them. It's not something he should care about. The trio doesn't know he's alive, and they certainly don't know about this apartment, either. He can hide out here and keep an eye on them without their knowledge.
