Cahara knew many things, but- trudging behind the broad shouldered, red haired Outlander in front of him, the tiny hand of a lost child clutched in his as they ventured deeper, supplies dwindling- Cahara realised that he understood very, very little.

Summary
Embarassed, ashamed, with his pride downtrodden severely but somehow still intact, Draco Lucius Malfoy braves his 8th Year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with about as much grace as can be expected from a man who narrowly escaped imprisonment with the unwanted (albeit sorely needed) help of his enemy, and classmate, Harry James Potter.
In which Draco Malfoy enters his final year of Hogwarts, navigating his fears and failures (or outright avoiding them, when it comes to a certain Saviour of Wizardkind), and ends up knee deep in hopeless romantics, politics, drinking games, forgiveness and harsh truths.
