2 years after the ending of Arcane, Ekko is going through his own struggle of trying to deal with the lost of Jinx and the Firelights. Vi and Caitlyn try to help him with his heavy burden but they don't know how to reach through to him. When someone gives him insight that Jinx could be alive, he doesn't waste the chance to try to find her.
