It’s an effort to not activate his hardening as he grips the doorframe of Bakugo’s room, looks in, and… Spots row after row of neatly labelled boxes. He’s sure his face must fall from its angry expression into devastation as he reads each label.
Books… Shirts… Bedsheets… If he didn’t know any better, he’d think…Oh.
Bakugo is moving out.
His eyes settle upon Bakugo’s figure, silhouette soft in the shadows of his unlit room. Unlike Kirishima’s upset, though, the expression Bakugo wears is one of resignation. Kirishima feels his bottom lip tremble and bites down, hard.
He was not crying right now.
It would be totally unmanly to cry in this situation.---

bakugo katsuki is the resident bully at UA, he only tolerates a handful of his peers and the one boy he wants to feel comfortable around him is the person he’s hurt the most. he’s recently realized his feelings towards deku but doesn’t know how to convince him that he can be nice. after hours of thinking, bakugo decides that if he can prove he can be a good boyfriend to someone else, deku will have no reason to deny his feelings. so now he just has to pick his fake boyfriend.
kirishima eijirou is a beautiful ray of sunshine for the students of UA, notably being the person bakugo tolerates most which he considers to be a deep honour. he’s known for a while now how he feels about bakugo and has almost entirely accepted that the two of them will only ever be friends. so how is he supposed to react when bakugo, his best friend and crush, suddenly asks if he wants to go out with him?Bookmarked by Lomtik
