"Hey, at the very least I made a friend out of it."
Mercury Black, due to a chance meeting, is assigned to get close to Ruby Rose and become a part of her inner circle. It seemed easy enough. The girl was ditsy and trusted easily, and it took him only a couple one on one talks until he was in. What he didn't plan for was actually starting to care for her. With the rest of Team RWBY ready to strike if he breaks the cookie loving huntress's heart and his boss breathing down his neck for intel, Mercury finds himself in an uncomfortable predicament. Stay bad, or turn good? He never thought he would get the choice before, that's for sure.

“Spark and Hush get leashes?” Yang wiggled her brows. “Your imaginary friends sure are kinky, sis.”
Ruby felt her face go red. “T-They’re not imaginary!”
Salem’s extermination of the Silver Eyed Warriors was thorough, so thorough Ozpin had lost hope that any remained, and feared that his reincarnation would bring new Warriors into the world only to suffer a short and bleak life. But Magic is reactive, instinctive, and the bloodline of Silver Eyed Warriors not so easily erased. He learned that when he confronted what he assumed was just another troublesome youth, but instead found the dulled silver of Ruby Rose’s eyes. And where one Hidden Warrior is found, well, there had to be others, right? Now all Ozpin had to do was keep Ruby close, and determine how on Remnant Salem missed her.
Ruby, on the other hand, had simpler goals: find her friends, no matter what. But jeez, it was hard to breathe with the headmaster breathing down her neck for some reason, and two years of skipped education sure did ruin the concept of free time. Though a little bit of dumb luck and reckless persistence was all she needed. Now if only Yang would agree…Series

Mercury's worst enemy was boredom. When that boredom decides to turn into a white portal that spits out four kids with silver eyes, and one calls him 'Daddy,' he suddenly wishes he were really fucking bored right now. AKA, the one where Ruby and Mercury's kids are just as much trouble as they were in their youth, and they end up time traveling due to a combination of their semblances. Fun times. Reading 'Wilted' might help you understand this one. Kind of.
This is just a fun story to put my OC Quicksilver kids :)

Summary
In a weird, horribly wrong twist of fate, Ruby is the leader of a team comprised of Roman Torchwick and his henchwoman Neo, a cranky man named Adam Taurus, and a snarky older teen named Mercury Black. They were all a little strange and murderous (though she doubted they really were), but they were her team, even if two of them were reforming (she thought so) criminals. Just…two of them though, right? (But then again, she got the sense she was the leader of a band of criminals anyway).
“You’re here because of why I haven’t placed you on a team yet —To start with, yes the three of you will be on a single team together. As with the rules, Miss Rose’s eyes met the two of you and so make you partners. However, there are two more people I’d like to place on your team.”
“Two? I thought it was four to a team, Sir?” Ruby asked in confusion.
“That’s true —but your team will be a special case. Professor Goodwitch, if you’d please?”
“Hello there, Red,” Roman Torchwick smirked at her. “Long time no see?"
