Summary
Shota Aizawa, an exhausted single dad and high school teacher, just wants peace and quiet to relax and not worry about fights, school, or being an adult. When Hitoshi tells him a classmate is coming over to go a group project, Shota comes face to face with someone he hasn't seen for nearly two decades. Dealing with buried emotions, old heartbreak, and meddling teenagers, he's faced with too many choices to make.
Shota isn't one to forgive and forget, but Hizashi is desperate. He regrets the choices he made so long ago, choices that hurt the both of them so harshly that he didn't see it until Shota was gone from his life. Finally reconnecting because of their children, he tries to reconnect with his old best friend and explain his end of things, but Shota has always been stubborn and hard to get through.
Eri and Shinsou know something their dads don't: they've been setting them up to rekindle the flame that went out so long ago. They find the old yearbooks, notes, and pictures and hatch a plan.
Operation DadSquared (they're still working on the name) is a go!

15 years and 2 adopted children later they’re still going strong, and despite the stress of their jobs and trying to wrangle a group of students who seem to attract trouble on a regular basis, Shouta’s never been happier.
Now he lies on the cold hard metal of the observation deck, a knife in his lung, slowly choking to death on his own blood, Nemuri desperately trying to save his life while his husband is god knows where.
