Summary
Whoever said reincarnation was a blast obviously was wrong. Dying then landing in a job exactly like my old one, it was like I never died in the first place. Sure the office was now in a space station, and that Gods/Aeons were apparently a thing, but all in all life still felt the same.
Until the damned bug that apparently lived in the station’s basement made everything complicated.

Himeko opened the Hyperion Coffee shop as a way to ground herself in her home planet. It had seemed to be a good idea, using her love for coffee to make a business to support her. However as months passed she found herself restless, yearning for an adventure across the stars just like the Nameless once did.
But for some reason she never gained the courage to leave all that she knew.
That all changed when a nicely dressed woman entered her store and introduced herself as Kafka.
A one shot of my take on Himeko’s origin story and how Kafka plays into it.
