   Summary

   Jason Kolchek gave his life and body to the Marines, crawling from the ashes of a life he wanted to forget. When his path crossed that of an Iraqi soldier named Salim, and when he put himself in harm's way for that man it was enough to cause some self-doubt. They are pulled apart by the powers that be, and Jason's life returns to emptiness like no other — and he realises just how much he misses that Iraqi soldier.
