Summary
In Killua’s backpack, he had a half-eaten box of gourmet chocolates, home baked bread, a thermos of herbal tea, freshly laundered clothes, and a folded up drawing: a picture he’d drawn of himself, alone and prepared for the worst, that Gon had graffitied his own likeness onto, smiling and bright and colorful.
Gon changed how Killua experienced the world. He made the impossible real. Maybe Killua could make the impossible real too.
On the run from his family, Killua is struggling with a few things: figuring out his sisters’ powers, relying on others, harnessing lightning, getting a full night’s sleep, and pining after Gon Freecss. Eventually, his resolve breaks, and Whale Island calls.

Summary
“I’ve seen people come into port after storms, you know. Men whose boats capsized, who watched their shipmates drown, who didn’t think they’d see the shore again. Your eyes look a lot like theirs,” Abe said, almost too casual for the severity of her implication. “Now, I’m not saying you have to tell us everything that happened, but you should know it’ll eat you up like a beast if you don’t deal with it.”
Gon looked at his great-grandmother, the wisdom of her years more than he could fathom, and asked, “How do I deal with it?”
“You have to be willing to accept help,” she said.
When Gon has a hard time transitioning back into life on Whale Island, he starts therapy. He also sees a math tutor, re-trains his nen, launches a tourism business, and spends a completely normal amount of time thinking about Killua's eyes.

Summary
“I’m going to miss you,” Killua said, quiet and resigned. The sadness in his voice echoed in Gon’s soul.
“Me too,” Gon choked out, and suddenly it didn’t feel like enough to just hold Killua’s hand anymore; he wanted to hold all of him, to crawl into his bed, wrap his arms around him, and never let go—
He had to let go.
Gon, beating down the stubborn and selfish parts of himself, forced himself to release Killua’s hand.
The night before Killua and Gon go their separate ways at the World Tree, they talk.

Summary
The pastor asked if they would like to write their own vows, but Yuno declined. Asta agreed that the tried-and-true script would be fine for them. For better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health— these vows were nothing new to them, made under stars in children’s pinky promises years and years ago.
Yuno reluctantly accepts his place as crown prince of the Spade Kingdom and fulfills his new duties and obligations. He can stomach the changes made to his life's plan, up until his mother asks him to get married. He would rather eat glass.
The solution? Ask his rival to become his prince consort.
(Canon divergent from the end of The Spade Kingdom Raid Arc / Chapter 331.)

Alastor hadn’t thought he’d be waking up with royalty again anytime soon, but the afterlife was full of surprises.

Summary
How long have you known?
Known what?
That I’m in love with Killua.~~~
A hurt/comfort story in which we untangle some of Gon's coping with the Chimera Ant Arc. Post-reunion, somewhat aged-up characters, happy ending, canon-compliant as far as I'm concerned.
Rated T for the sad stuff, there is nothing explicit.

Summary
“I think,” Gon breathes out. “I like Killua.”
Gon at seventeen is odd. He’s softer at the edges in a way that’s startingly different from the twelve-year-old that chased Ging halfway across the world. The determination in his eyes still shines, sharp and refined, but it seems more a steady burn than a wildfire. He’s growing up, Ging’s mind supplies helpfully, and the strangely paternal thought is enough to startle words out of him.
“Uh,” Ging starts slowly. He doesn’t need to ask what kind of like it is; that much is obvious in the weight of the words and the way Gon is frowning at the ground. “And you are telling me this… because?”
A series of vignettes into the future: of Ging trying—kind of, maybe, unknowingly—to make amends.

Summary
“Does it bother you?” Gon asks, tilting his head to pin Killua with a wide-eyed look. His tone is genuinely concerned as he assures, “I can stop if you don’t like it.”
No, is his immediate reaction and, to his continued mortification, his mouth blurts it out without his permission. He shoves his hands in his pockets, ducking his chin to glare at the dirt as he mutters, “I mean, I don’t…mind it.” He glances back up at his friend through his fringe to find a delighted smile aimed his way, wide and bright and captivating. His heart leaps in his chest at the sight.

Summary
"They run. Killua doesn’t know where, but it doesn’t matter. Alluka is calling after them, but it doesn’t matter. His lungs are raw and breathless, his feet are still bare from when he left his shoes by Mito-san’s front door, his knees still hurt from where they had collided with the hard wooden pier not too long ago -
It doesn’t matter. All that matters is Gon’s fingers hot and tight around Killua’s wrist. Gon’s ragged breath, matching Killua’s own. Gon’s shoulders, with mossy mountains and vast seas cradled between them, shifting while he runs and Killua runs after him."
(In which Killua learns how to trust again and Gon learns how to earn it back.)
