Summary
Cloud gets bullied by his surrounding troopers/cadets. The day had been rough to begin with and other than the headache he had, he wanted to slip away into his safe space, seeing as he had been putting it off for a while (more than normal). Zack of course, loves to tend to his beloved. Kunsel only knows because fo Zack, same with Angeal. Kunsel and Angeal are emergency care givers if Zack isn't around to take care of his sunshine, which is one of the sole purposes they know. That and Cloud trusts them enough. Through the day, Cloud holds back up until lunch, then he looses it. He does snap at someone before he flees towards Zack's dorm for safety.

Summary
This piece of writing focuses on a certain coping mechanism that I don't know if everyone is comfortable with, so I'm putting a border up. And here, I will put a definition!
"Age regression is a psychological phenomenon that occurs when someone's thoughts, emotions, or behaviors revert to a younger developmental stage. It can be a temporary or long-term response to stress, trauma, or other factors, and it can happen at any age."
So this is NOT A KINK, and I only say this due to the people I know are out there who perceive it as such. People have this in real life. People cope with this in real life. This is just a personal headcanon that I was learning how to write with, and I'm doing my best to know all the research. Please let me know if anything doesn't fit or doesn't seem right or anything that I've gotten wrong, I'm trying to learn.

The world goes white.

“Wars,” Sky pleads. One of his hands folds into Warriors' scarf. “Snow.”
“Okay, okay,” Warriors says, and steps out of the door. “C'mon, bud.”
Sky's anticipation is palpable. His hand shifts from Warriors' scarf to his proffered hand, and then he takes one hesitant step forwards and sinks half a foot into the snow with a sound of pure delight.
Time and Warriors lock eyes. Sky bends over and immediately tries to scoop up a snowball, the frost crumbling in his hands.
“He just fucking chirped,” Warriors whispers, pupils blown wide. “Time.”
(Sky unintentionally regresses for the first time in front of the others, excited by the snow. Warriors and Time are confused but supportive. Adding to the very small LU age regression stash!)
