Summary
There are times when things are so bad that you have no choice but to go down a path that you will irrevocably regret. Sometimes that path is one you had considered for a long time before, but never realistically saw yourself choosing. It’s in these times that you will undoubtedly make a mistake; one that you will never be able to recover from. These situations weren’t terribly unfamiliar to Aether, in fact he was gravely intimate with their actuality. He had found himself making these mistakes over and over again, always led on by some impossible position which he found himself in by no fault of his own. That was where he was now, in that position, headed down that path, glaring despondently at yet another bad decision that had laid itself in front of him.
Aether's sister goes missing and after months of being unable to look for her, a way to find her may have appeared on it's own. What is he willing to do to get her back, and what consequences will his choices hold?

"You saved my life," Todoroki says.

Midoriya Izuku is a university sophomore, a fanboy, quirkless. On the list of things he is not: a hero.

His actions fling him into the media spotlight, grabbing the attention of the entire country, including Todoroki himself. But Todoroki actually wants to get to know him past the headlines.
