This is a realistic AU for death note in which Light gets his hands on a DNA based bioweapon which can assassinate people in much the same way, except all he needs is their DNA. Luckily access to it is easier than ever, as covered in the news, which is where I got the inspiration. I thought— what would happen if Light got a hold of something like that? Pairings are early one-sided Light/Misa, and later L/Light.
