Summary
Thranduil has finally travelled to Valinor with the rest of the Elves that were left in Middle Earth. There he discovers that live without the responsibility of ruling a kingdom is boring. As a result the Elven King of Mirkwood had a weak moment with a human from a different world.
After she returns to her world, she discovers the gift, the elven royal has bestowed upon her - remembering him to the day she dies - twice.35 years, 9 months and two days later the portal opens again - and Thranduil will discover a new world - and his child with a special gift.
