Buck should have known Tommy was going to pull something. Just the way he's driving, mainly sticking with the left side of the highway, as the way to Eddie’s house wasn’t too far from where Buck broke down. He just needed to head to the next exit.

“What do you think they were arguing about?” Harry enquired, folding his arms across his chest.
“Eddie’s probably just mad that he doesn’t have $8,001 in his bank account…” Ravi mumbled under his breath, from his position stood next to Harry.
“Yeah, too bad he’d never actually bid on Buck, that would put us all out of our misery” Harry said, laughing under his breath.
Wait a minute… that’s it!
“Harry, Ravi… you guys are geniuses” Chimney said, breaking out into a mischievous grin.
Both Harry and Ravi turned their heads in confusion, looking at Chimney as if he had grown a second head. Chimney, stood next to them, looked back and grinned even wider.
“The auction! That’s how we’ll get these two to talk to each other! They can’t escape if they have to go on a date… with each other” Chimney said.
OR
Fed up of Buck and Eddie tip toeing around their feelings for each other, Chimney decides to lead the 118 into a dastardly scheme to bid on Buck and Eddie at the LAFD bachelor auction, setting them up on a blind date with each other. The aim is for them to have an honest conversation about how they feel... will it work? Don't worry, Chimney has a plan for that.

Buck is not doing well after being crushed by the fire truck, or the tsunami, or Eddie being shot, or being struck by lightning, or Bobby fucking dying. After being kidnapped in 9x13, Buck is at the tipping point.
He's in a shit ton of pain, his leg is in constant agony, along with his chest and oh look at that 2 days after coming home he goes to the hospital and he's given some pretty good pain killers. That stop the memories and anxiety that have been brought up after the kidnapping...
Surely, that won't cause problems will they?
