Summary
Set post Loki season 2, and post Avengers Endgame. Thor has rescued Loki with Mobius' help, and now they finally get to be together. Although it's not that simple. Both of them have baggage.
“I thought I’d never see you again.” Thor whispers, so quiet Loki has to wonder whether he was meant to hear it.
“Me too.”
It’s strange. Last time he saw Thor, his Thor, who had cuffed him and was dragging him back to Asgard to pay for his actions, Loki wasn’t exactly a fan of him, but a lot has happened. He can tell from the look in this Thor’s eyes that he’s been through a lot too. -

A woman close by lets out a loud gasp, which causes Loki to splutter and apologise, rationalising Thor's recklessness.“Thor!”
“Yes baby?” Thor exhales as his hand skates down to Loki's ass, his palm gripping his asscheeks.

Summary
If he closes his eyes and forgets how his body sags beneath the weight of his exhaustion, he can almost hear the sounds of Asgard around him, the guards standing sentry at each corner, the maids running in and out of chambers, his father's voice from the throne room. For a breath, he can hear the rustle of his mother's gown as she walks through her favorite rose garden, and the soft, hushed sounds of a little brother who is silent to everyone except for him.
When Thor opens his eyes, he almost expects to find Loki standing there, but, of course, he doesn't. At the end of this day, everything from his memory is gone and Loki somewhere else entirely.
