Summary
The protagonist has lived through the same cataclysm over and over again, bound to himself in repetition. Feelings shift, outcomes seem different, yet all paths collapse back into the beginning.
He doesn't know it, but everything has already been implemented in his consciousness, dooming him to the recurrence.
...That's odd. That man with his mouth sewn shut. What's so unfamiliar about him?
Or
Protag starts to realize everything about the cataclysm when a guest he has never met before, Wireface, arrives and reveals that this is not the first time the world is ending.

Summary
A postpartum of sorts. Protagonist doesn't kill Coat Guy or kick him out after he shows him his "secret". He's got many more secrets in store for him, even if he can't remember all of them so well.
