The heat during her daughter’s birthday was always the worst, beating down at her like she was serving penance. Or perhaps just the lack of sleep from the nightmares was driving Raven mad. She had tried to restart the Branwen tribe, but they were a bunch of weaklings, so she simply put the adults to the sword and put the kids into some orphanages she remembered from her time as a huntress. She was almost thankful for the time spent as Ozpin’s little soldier, otherwise she may have been condemning the kids to a life of pseudo-slavery, and they didn’t deserve that.
