You felt so much rage and sadness. How could you forget and move on after what had happened? You still mourned Professor Fig everyday. You still have nightmares from witnessing Sebastian kill Solomon right in front of you. You wonder each and every day if there was something you could’ve done to change the outcome.
Foolishly, you thought you could handle this new power, but it’s changed you completely. You genuinely thought maybe you would be able to cure Anne, and once again see the smile from Sebastian that you loved so much. You were wrong. After over a year of trying, you discovered nothing could help her. You felt guilty for letting down Sebastian and scared of all the rage you felt from these new powers. You decided distancing yourself from all your friends would be for the best. It would keep them safe from you.
