Summary
At no point in the accidental usurpation of Thorin as leader of The Company and the quest for Erebor, did Bilbo intend for this to turn into an exploration of cultural differences (and something that almost feels like group therapy). For some reason, the Dwarrows aren't complaining, and Bilbo isn't going to question it, as long as the lumoxes behave themselves and do as they're told.
Who knows, they all might yet survive this insane journey.
(Or, where Bilbo decides the Dwarves are all too stupid for him to endure this ridiculousness anymore and Does It Hobbit and the Dwarves suddenly get affectionate.)
*Please note, within this story there are mentions of the underage rape and subsequent pregnancy of an off-screen character. Mentions are brief in chapter 2, and a little more in depth chapter 4. Summary
When twenty-two year old Diaval ventures into the BDSM-community, he soon realizes that it's not all love, peace and harmony - there is evil, even in this subculture that he thought would be accepting of his desires. When a man with dog-like face makes it clear that he considers all submissives his slaves, and tries to bully Diaval around, Maleficent steps in. Diaval is spellbound by the queenly woman, and offers his service. His protector is embittered, cold and distant, but Diaval has his own sad past to cope with, and yearns for the safety and peace that Maleficent offers. In his craving for love, he claims to have no limits, save one - under no circumstances will he ever wear a dog collar. (Yes, I changed the title.)

Summary: This a story where Harry Potter has Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) which is now known as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). He has several personalities with all sorts of functions for protecting him & keeping him from remembering childhood trauma. I plan for this fic to span at least until the Half-Blood Prince but hopefully all the way through the books. Harry is the Host and is currently unaware he has DID. (Also this is part 1, it says part 2 because I included a word bank for unfamiliar terms.)
