Imagine going to pick up your daughter one day after school and her new best friend's father happens to be your best friend and the man you loved who you haven't heard from in nearly 10 years.
Well, that's the story of Steve Rogers' life.
Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers were inseparable, until the time of college and the army. Following in his fathers footsteps, Bucky joined the army after high school while Steve attended Columbia University. Letters were exchanged as was phone calls, until it stopped. He never knew why, only that he had lost Bucky, and never thought he would get him back.
6 years later, he has a home, a daughter, his Mas' health was better again, and great friends surrounded him. Then when his daughter makes a new friend he doesn't expect the father to be Bucky Barnes.
Now thrown back into each other's lives, will Steve be able to keep those feelings at bay, and who is to say they never left Bucky either?
