I'm making my Demon Rick fic into a multi chapter series. There is some deviation from the original fic that inspired this series, but I have still included it anyhow. The original piece was meant to be a one shot, standalone fic so this is more of a soft continuation/inspired by rather than a congruent continuation. The basic theme of the visit by the demon and the fact that he had been searching for her are the main things that carry over here. Disregard the parts where he was kind of an ass to her in relation to this continuation.

Xaden Riorson thought he had figured out how to survive in this place. Now in his final year at Basgiath War College, he’s risen to the rank of Wingleader. He is focused on one thing: getting every kid of the rebellion bonded to a dragon. Then the real work can begin.
But he hadn’t counted on Violet Sorrengail, the General’s daughter, entering the Rider’s Quadrant. She’s not supposed to be here and she’s about to throw every plan he has made into chaos. Can he trust her? And more importantly, can he trust himself?
This follows the dialogue and events of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing, retold from Xaden’s perspective. This was written prior to the release of Iron Flame, so all theories and speculation are my own and unconfirmed. It's my best guess at exploring how Xaden might have felt throughout the story and features new scenes with Liam, Garrick, Imogen, Sgaeyl and Tairn. Major plot spoilers from the very first chapter.

Summary
Newly appointed to the rank of Wingleader, Xaden Riorson only has one goal for his third and final year at Basgiath: Get all the marked ones bonded and graduated so they might stand a fighting chance against the true evil lurking at Navarre’s borders. The only problem is that Violet Sorrengail, his enemy’s youngest daughter, has also joined the Rider’s Quadrant this year. He doesn’t know why she’s here, what her plans are, or if he can trust her. All he knows is that he can’t seem to stay away.
This is a rewrite of my previous fic “The Wingleader – Xaden’s POV”. It’s a Fourth Wing retelling from Xaden’s POV with new Iron Flame updates. It follows the dialogue and chapter timeline from Fourth Wing with my own interpretations and theories of Xaden’s actions and feelings.
Do not read if you haven’t finished both FW AND IF - major spoilers from BOTH books throughout!

Summary
A third-person account following Rhysand from his first vision from Feyre Archeron all the way up to her acceptance of the Mating Bond (plus an epilogue chapter). Unexplained elements in the source material, such as the identities of the unnamed Faeries Feyre kills Under the Mountain, are supplemented with new, original characters. The entirety of this story is in-line with the source material (in other words, plausible) with the exception of Feyre's hallucinations in the prison cell and the afterlife (which have been amended to better suit the Night Court).
