Summary
After the third trial, Ken mechanically made his way back to his dorm, breaking down as soon as the door was closed. The weight of what he’d lost today finally set in: Kazutoshi was dead, and it was his fault. He cried himself to sleep that night, with regret on his mind.
The following morning, Ken woke up terrified and cold…
Wait, cold?
He heard a voice then, and when he turned his head, he met red, tired eyes. Kazutoshi was there, in his bed. Whole and alive, his head still on his shoulders, his tongue still in his mouth… and absolutely no idea he was supposed to be dead.
Ken understood then that he was given another chance. And this time, he’d make sure Kazutoshi survived this nightmare.Author's note: Act 1 has now been completed! The fic will be going on hiatus until I can build back my chapter supply! Will come back as soon as I can with Act 2! ♥

It’s just Tei, Ikeda, and the quiet, sniffling sounds that won’t stop escaping the Art Forger’s small frame. Tei still can't figure out what's going on with him...or why Ikeda's fear feels so awfully familiar to him.

Summary
Hasegawa Ken has succeeded in what he set out to do. He enacted his convoluted plan, covered his tracks, and lied his way through the trial, ensuring that all of his classmates paid the price for what happened to Kamimura. He made them suffer as he suffers.
He’d hoped that his revenge would vindicate him somehow, but it changes nothing. His victory is hollow. Just like he is. And now, he has nothing left but pain and regret.
