John followed Billy into the bedroom. “We're not friends, Billy. You're here for one very simple reason." He watched the silent, implicitly submissive bend, as the bargain-bin Mccartney retrieved his pants from the foot of the bed. He felt his blood stir, easily aroused though he'd only just had his fun. "I don't give a shit about your thoughts and feelings," he continued, throwing the very true insult at the hunched, bare back. "You don't know my life. And while we’re at it, you don’t know Paul's either, so don't go around feeling sorry for yourself.”
Billy was quiet as he stepped into his slacks. Made John sick to watch. Paul must've taken the entire spinal cord in the womb.

A few months after his self-absorbed brother runs off to the continent with his fuck-up of a songwriting partner, Mike receives an invitation to spend Christmas with them in Paris. Bitter with wounds that have been lifetimes in the making, but determined to repair his relationship with his brother, Mike accepts, dragging a chagrined George Harrison along for moral support.
This is the epilogue of the Cast Iron Shore and the Reeperbahn, but I've been told by some lovely beta readers that it works on its own as well.
