While some may have seen it as an enemies to lovers type of ordeal, those with inside knowledge of the middle daughter's mind would know she holds this particular individual in decent regard. She'd seen her sisters have lovers here and there over time, but never indulged in any of it herself. At least, not until this one decided to talk back. The first prequel to Still With Me, this is Cassandra and Liadis' love story.

Bela loves her family with all her being, and lately the eldest Dimitrescu finds herself falling into her memories as she reminisces about how she and her lover came to be together. Looking back on the hurdles and hurricanes they've been through to get to where they are now brings her wave after wave of nostalgia. It can also, however, bring about the fears and emotions she tries to hide about their situation, and the reality of mortality.
Bela screws up, meets someone she connects with, and this is my attempt at their story.
