In all of his long years, Abel had always prided himself with how much self restraint he had. He could deny himself a lot of wants and pleasures to wait patiently for a bigger goal, a more plentiful result. He was a man led by cold facts and logic only.
But with Dirga... Now, with Dirga clasping his hands around his neck, pulling him to where the fragrance emitted, so close Abel could felt Dirga’s pulsing vein on his lips. Abel sucked in a deep breath, eyes closing as he was drowning in his desires, waves and waves of it engulfing him deep down into oblivion. Until his sanity broke.
And so he let it broke.

Summary
As much Netherlands disliked certain characteristics that Indië had, he cannot deny the strange attraction that he held for him. There was a thin line between love and hate (a belief that he himself rejected) and Netherlands, whether he realised it or not, was very slowly moving towards the other side of the spectrum.
