How long can a lie remain a lie before it becomes a justification to linger? For how long can one lie about motivations before the lie becomes their truth?
Shadow Milk Cookie makes good on his threat that Pure Vanilla Cookie's kindness will be his undoing. He arrives in the Vanilla kingdom asking for help, lying that his followers have turned on him and his magic is gone. This lie wraps him up in itself until he is completely enmeshed, unable to tell where the lie ends, and where his true motivations begin. That lie becomes an excuse to linger.

Summary
Pure vanilla finds that a new bird is visiting him before finding out that it was Shadow milk cookie all along. Vanilla wants to befriend him and Shadow Milk sees it as an opportunity to manipulate him and get his souljam back. Soon his visits become more and more frequent, they seem to be getting closer to each other. Trusting each other. Pure Vanilla slowly reminds Shadowmilk more and more of his past self. Will they learn to heal together even when things go wrong?

Shadow milk re-learns to let himself be caring and truthfull, learning to move on from his past while Pure Vanilla cookie finds himself following in SMC's footsteps, Lies daring to spill out bordering at who PVC thought he was. All while they discover that there might be something more to their other half than they had originally thought.
