Summary
When Mimzy lets it slip that Alastor as once married, the others, especially Charlie can’t help but press Alastor for the details.
This fanfiction mainly takes place in the 1920s New Orleans, since it is set for Alastors human life. There will be a lot of historical inaccuracies, that I will try to adresss in the notes if I can.
The female character aka Alastors wife will be named rarely if at all, but it is more of an OC than an /Reader. The use of Y/N wont be used.
Major character death is mainly for Alastor eventually dieing in the end. I only tagged graphic depictions of violence, because of right now I am unsure of how into detail I want to go with Alastors murders.

Summary
In the magical world there have been soulmates since Merlins time and before, the tricky part was finding them, seing as the only way to find them was, that you were trying to hurt them physically in some way. If soulmates tried to use violence of any kind on one another it simply didn't work, curses and hexes had no effect. Even spells that were meant to hurt the person didn't work. It didn't work with other kinds of violence either.
Soulmates, even though they were hard to find, were very cherished in the wizzarding world, for soulmate couples more often than not were having multiple magical childreen, which got rarer every generation in the wizzarding world. Soulmates also made each other more powerful, after a binding ceremony.
